The Fragrant Smell Of Florals!

Hello my lovelies, I'm back again with another vintage style outfit for you! I hope this update finds you well.

I've decided to go for something bright and floral this time, I know floral's aren't exactly Autumny but I think the style of dress I've gone for can be worn any time of the year, the shape and cut of it are a prime representation of what look you're aiming for, not necessarily the pattern on this occasion.

You'll notice this is also the dress I take with me to vintage wedding fair's to exhibit for Von Frock's Vintage Hens, as I think it's so pretty and really makes and impact.

So here it is...

See what I mean and isn't it beautiful? This frock is from La Frock no less! La Frock (www.LaFrock.com) is a great find for vintage reproduction dresses and at only £49.99 it's not going to break the bank if you're after a showstopper for a special occasion.

The dress has netting underneath to give it a fuller look but to give it that little bit of extra oomph I've also added a petticoat.

So, I realise the weather has changed considerably and you wouldn't pop out just wearing this dress, so I'd suggest to keep you from catching a chill indoors a bolero style cardigan to keep your shoulders warm, perhaps in a lilac colour.

I've added another picture below just so you can see the extra detail on the bust area with the buttons, these little extras make this dress appear a lot more expensive than it is...

Another point I'd like to make about this style of dress is that it's a lifesaver when us ladies are having our bloated days, the cut and especially the busy pattern work wonders on concealing the problem tummy area.

So now, we've got the perfect dress, what do we do in the shoes and hand bag department? My trusty silver set of course!

If you're a regular reader of my blog you'll notice that I refer back to this little set time and time again, the versatility of gold or silver accessories is endless and I find that whenever an outfit is particularly colourful it's always good to opt for metallic shoes and handbag to reign it in a little and stop the ensemble from looking too clownish. So, as previously mentioned, the shoes are from Office (www.office.co.uk), who we all know hold a fantastic range of shoes, I don't think I could live without them! The bag, I don't remember where it came from as I've had it for years, but I've seen similar all over the place, you just have to keep your eyes peeled.

As you can see, the silver shoes and bag work really well with the colourful dress, so if you don't have any silver shoes yet, go and get some!

Another week, another outfit which I'm excited to share with you and I hope you love.
